How to make icon file ~ Shwenagar

ဒီတစ္ခါ Tutorial မွာေတာ့ Photoshop နဲ႔ ICON file တစ္ခုျပဳလုပ္ပံုကို ေလ့လာၾကရေအာင္။ Computer dictionary မွာေတာ့ "Icon is a graphical symbol which represent something in your computer" လို႔ဆိုပါတယ္။ ဥပမာေျပာရရင္ My Computer ကို computer ပံုေလး Camera devices ေတြကို Camera ပံုေလးေတြနဲ႔ကိုယ္စားျပဳေဖာ္ျပထားသလိုပါ။
အခု mmphotoshop ကိုကိုယ္စားျပဳမယ့့္ icon ေလးဖန္တီးခ်င္ပါတယ္၊ ဒါေၾကာင့္ Logo တစ္ခုကိုဖန္တီးျခင္း သင္ခန္းစာမွာပါတဲ့ ပံုေလးကို ICON file ေျပာင္းပါမယ္။ လိုအပ္တာကေတာ့ Plug-in file တစ္ခုပါ။ ဒီမွာ Zip file ေလးတစ္ခုကို Download လုပ္ပါ။ (Latest Version လိုခ်င္ရင္ေတာ့သူ႔ရဲ့ website ျဖစ္တဲ့ http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat မွာ၀င္ၾကည့္ပါ။)

ပထမဦးဆံုးအေနနဲ႔ကေတာ့ Photoshop ဖြင့္ထားရင္ေတာ့ ပိတ္လိုက္ပါ၊ Plug-in ေတြကို Photoshop ဟာဖြင့္ဖြင့္ခ်င္း Loading အခ်ိန္မွာမွ ဖတ္မိလို႔ပါ။
အဲဒီေနာက္မွာေတာ့ Download လုပ္ထားတဲ့ zip file ကို Extract (unzip) လုပ္ျပီး ICOFormat.8bi ဆိုတဲ့ file ေလးကိုသင့္ရဲ့စက္ထဲက Photoshop ရဲ့ Plug-Ins folder ထဲက File Formats ရွိတဲ့ေနရာမွာသြားထားလိုက္ရံုပါပဲ (အခုစက္မွာေတာ့ C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\File Formats ျဖစ္ပါတယ္)

အိုေက၊ Photoshop ကိုျပန္ဖြင့္လိုက္ပါမယ္ အဲဒီေနာက္ မိမိလိုခ်င္တဲ့ File ကိုဖြင့္လိုက္ပါမယ္(File>Open) အခု Tutorial မွာေတာ့ ေစာေစာကေျပာခဲ့တဲ့ Logo file ေလးေပါ့။ ျပီးရင္ေတာ့ အဲဒီ File ကို pixel dimension 16x16 ဒါမွမဟုတ္ အနီးဆံုးျဖစ္ေအာင္ခ်ံုဳ႕လိုက္ပါမယ္ (Image>Image Size)

ေနာက္ဆံုးအဆင့္မွာေတာ့ File>Save As ကို Click လုပ္ေပးလိုက္ရင္ File Save As Dialog box မွာ File Name ေပးျပီး Format ကို ICO (Windows Icon)(*.ico) ေရြးျပီး Save လိုက္ရံုပါပဲ။

ေရွ႕ Tutorial မွာေရးသားခဲ့ေသာ GIMP (Introduction to GIMP) software မွာေတာ့ Icon format ဟာ Default ပါ၀င္ပါတယ္။ သူက Result ပိုေကာင္းပါတယ္ စမ္းၾကည့္ပါဦး။
